St Gabriel's school - Annual Fees for 2020

Compulsory Fee                  $600 – Reception to Year 2 per student, or

                                             $675 – Year 3 to Year 6 per student

Tuition Fee                           $1,750 per student

Building Levy                        $300 per family

Special Project Levy            $100 per family


Notes to fees

  • Sibling discounts apply of $340 for a 2nd child and $1,750 per 3rd or more children, ie. 3rd+ child pay no tuition fee.
  • A 50% discount on the net tuition fee applies where families are eligible for School Card.
  • 2020 fees are calculated at the 2017 fee amount if the full annual fee is paid by the due date in term one. (Concession fees not eligible).
  • We encourage and provide direct debit, bpay and credit card payments. Staff are happy to talk about the best payment options for you. 

The Compulsory Resource Fee is payable at the beginning of the year per child to cover the upfront costs of Stationery, Art & Craft, Technology (infrastructure, hardware, software and maintenance), Curriculum Resources, Library, Water Safety Program (Swimming, Sailing & Surfing), Excursions, Ambulance Insurance, 24 hour Accident Insurance etc.


The Tuition Fee covers all costs in the school (apart from those funded through State and Commonwealth Grants) and includes costs associated with administration, grounds and cleaning expenses, utilities, ESO wages, general maintenance, office costs, financial charges and interest on overdrafts.


The Building Levy and Special Project Levy are charged to each family and is used towards building projects, capital improvement works or refurbishments and assists with Community Group activities.


The School Board is conscious of the need to keep fees as low as possible whilst not compromising the opportunities for students.


Families can enter into a direct debit payment plan and spread the compulsory fee out throughout the whole year.
