How to Enrol

  1. Please click below to download and print the 'Application for Enrolment' form, or request a hard copy by contacting the School on 8216 9900.
  2. Note: A $50 fee is applicable upon lodgement of the application form, except where a child has attended St Gabriel’s School Playgroup.
  3. The “Application for Enrolment” form should be lodged with the School as soon as possible, including prior or after attending a School Tour (where applicable), along with copies of the child's Birth and Baptismal (where applicable) certificates.
  4. The School will notify by letter to acknowledge receipt of the application form.
  5. An interview and a visit to the School will be arranged between the parents and the Principal, usually 12 to 18 months prior to commencement, preferably with the child in attendance.
  6. A letter of 'Offer of Enrolment' will be sent together with an 'Acceptance of Enrolment Offer' form, and once it has been completed and returned to the School, the placement is confirmed.
  7. Children beginning Reception class are invited to attend orientation morning/s at the end of the term prior to their commencement, while parents attend an information session at the same time.

 

Reception - Term 1 or Term 3 admission

The criteria for starting Reception on the first day of School in Term 1 continues to be that the child will attain the age of 5 on or before 30 April in that year.

The criteria for starting Reception on the first day of School in Term 3 is that the child will have attained the age of 5 on or before 31 October in that year. Students who commence in Term 3 will spend 6 terms in Reception.
